Software Engineer III - Site Reliability Engineering

Duty & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain observability solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack to ensure system health and performance are continuously monitored.
- Write automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and enhance reliability.
- Participate in incident response efforts, diagnosing issues and implementing solutions to maintain service availability.
- Set up and maintain monitoring systems to track performance metrics and identify potential issues proactively.
- Propose and implement improvements to existing processes and tools to enhance system reliability and observability.
Key Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of service monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience with incident management systems (PagerDuty) and chaos engineering principles.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to building reliable and scalable systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree preferred.3-8 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on observability, reliability, and DevOps.
