Software Engineer NIKE, Inc.- Beaverton, OR. Develop, code, configure, and test automations, programs, and solutions independently with minimal supervision to meet the process automation platform needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, architects, and product managers across the domains to understand the requirements and develop scalable platform capabilities such as CI/CD, observability, and high availability. Building pipelines to deploy orchestration services and automations in AWS. Define and implement the key metrics to evaluate the platform usage and provide useful insights to customers using monitoring dashboards and alerts. Implement automation tools and frameworks that promote reusability and standardization across the organization. Provide guidance and mentoring to automation community within the organization to follow the best practices and recommended design patterns. Stay current with the industry trends and perform proof of concepts to improve the overall experience of the platform users. Ability to effectively participate and influence large cross-functional stakeholder meetings. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY. 

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Electronics Engineering and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a engineering-related occupation.

Experience must include: 

  • Automation Anywhere or UI Path certification 

  • Node JS or Python 

  • Bash or Powershell scripting 

  • Jenkins 

  • AWS Serverless 

  • Splunk or equivalent monitoring tools 

  • Git 

  • Terraform 

  • Agile / Scrum
