WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

A member of Greater China Communications team, focus on generating “Cool” storytelling about brand, athletes, innovation and corporate reputation. This role will mainly work with marketplace stakeholders on certain moments such as new concept store opening, retail communications and support other projects within the team.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a young talent, with full of sports passion, visionary and strategy thinking on communications skills. This individual will be instrumental in shaping and telling the Nike story, with a specific focus on our retail innovation, business strategy, and market leadership. The ideal candidate will be a journalist who possess a deep-seated passion for the sports retail industry and a proven track record of crafting compelling narratives that resonate with both internal and external audiences. You have an innate understanding of the sports retail landscape and are driven to share how Nike serve athletes*.

This role is based at Nike China Headquarters in Shanghai.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Brand Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in corporate communication, brand communication, business journalism, or content strategy, preferably within the sports, fashion, or retail industry.
  • A genuine passion for sports and the retail industry, with a keen eye for market trends and consumer dynamics.
  • Exceptional skills in writing, editing, and visual storytelling, with strong project management capabilities to lead initiatives independently.
  • Strong judgment with a sensitivity to PR issues and the geo-political landscape.
  • A collaborative team player who demonstrates agility, accountability, and a result-driven mindset.
  • Capable to thrive in a complex, matrixed environment

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

As a member of the Business Communications team, responsible for Marketplace, Supply Chain, and Key City communications.

  • Strategic Storytelling: Translate global direction into impactful local communication plans. Generate innovative and "cool" narratives around new store concepts, retail services, and community initiatives.
  • Content Creation & Production: Drive and optimize youth-centric content, leveraging your experience in print and digital publishing to lead the end-to-end production of retail-focused publications.
  • Story Mining: Proactively partner with cross-functional teams to discover and develop untold stories that showcase our business impact and brand vision.
  • Project & Budget Management: Managing multiple publication, event projects from concept to delivery this includes detailed budget tracking, ensuring all initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and on-brand.
