WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role will be part of a team that reports to the Manager, Digital Operations under Nike Digital Direct Commerce (NDDC) base in Tokyo, Japan. The NDDC Operations team is responsible for administrating and publishing seasonal product contents for Owned Platform (Nike.com, Nike App and SNKRS) and analyzing production status to take necessary actions to activate the products on site at right timing or manage miscellaneous changes proactively.
This role will be partnering with global and local teams to drive consensus on better site experiences that adapt to our consumer needs, and to troubleshoot and facilitate the resolution of technical issues related to user experience and site functionality.
This role will also support online product and campaign launches, including occasional launches during weekends. Compensatory time off will be provided for weekend requests.

Our ideal candidate has:
Minimum of 2 years or more direct working experience in an e-commerce, digital operations, merchandising, retail or other relevant environment. Commercial awareness of the retail or other industry with tangible product is a must. Understanding of local online retail environment is also required.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training.
Fluent to native Japanese level and business fluency in oral and written communication in English is a must.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote.
Ability to manage multiple projects on various levels with different and converging timeliness and work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group of teammates.
Ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
Availability to work on occasional early or midnight shifts and weekends/holidays when necessary.
A strong curiosity and detail-oriented mentality.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will play a key role in enhancing the consumer experience on our Nike.com, Nike App, and SNKRS platforms. Your responsibilities will include managing and executing day-to-day operations, with a focus on ensuring product readiness and maintaining platform health. You will collaborate with teams based locally and at our world headquarters to optimize the digital operations process for a greater end-to-end consumer journey.
Overall Seasonal Readiness including Product Activation, Closeout and Price Change Operations.

Product Launch Execution
Campaign Launch Execution and Support.
Issue Escalation partnering with local and global teams for resolution.
Site Optimization based on User Experience and Consumer Voice.
Authoring commerce related contents on Nike.com.
Contribute to consumer and business-focused projects.
Supervise third party vendor operations.
