The annual base salary for this position ranges from $69,900.00 in our lowest geographic market to $138,300.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

We're looking for a collaborative, creative and consumer-focused retail marketer, for Los Angeles marketplace, who can connect with the Nike consumer and drive Brand affinity and business results. WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

As a retail marketing specialist, you will play a critical role in planning and executing against Nike product launches, sport moments, and foundational retail excellence. You will assist in the development and communication of retail marketing plans, briefs and project tracking as well as tools needed to execute across the marketplace and achieve scale. This role is also key support for seasonal product ordering, event logistics, and overall project/agency coordination with planning & operations partners.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

If this is you, you will report directly into the Integrated Retail Marketing Director. The Retail marketing specialist position as part of the Marketing team works closely with many cross functional teams. These include, but are not limited to Visual Merchandising, Brand Management (Sport & Culture), Digital Platform teams, Digital Brand teams, Store Business partners, Sports Marketing partners, Merchants, Product teams, Frontline Store Teams, and external agency partners.  You’ll be part of the LA Integrated Retail Brand Marketing Team (focusing on wholesale partners & Nike stores) along with a variety of functional teammates and partners across LA & NA. You will be an integral part of the team identifying industry shifts across retail, sport, and culture and then partnering cross-functionally & cross-categorically to shape how we build deep connections with our consumers and communities.

 WHAT YOU WILL BRING?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 2+ years of marketing experience or store experience

  • Small-Large Fleet, vertical retail experience

  • Strong understanding of Digital Marketing, reporting and data analysis

  • A passion for marketing, product and storytelling

  • A dedication to details

  • An innate curiosity and strong desire to learn

  • The ability to take risks, learn and quickly pivot

  • A love for being on a team and working collaboratively towards a common goal

  • A self-starter with excellent organizational skills

  • The ability to multi-task

  • Exceptional written, verbal, visual communication and presentation skills

  • Pro-active problem solver, ability to assess an issue and develop action steps for resolution

  • A love for the art and the science of marketing

  • Can-do demeanor with shown ability of adapting to change in business needs or direction.

  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
