EMEA Marketing – Specialist II, Retail Marketing, EKIN, Paris/France

Based in Paris, we are currently recruiting 3  opportunities who will become part of the Paris  and French territory marketing team. Each role will have a slightly different focus and will form part of the growing EMEA EKIN family. This team will be accountable for:

- Bringing our Consumer Fields of Play to life in the city through key relationships with the faces (individuals and communities) & places that matter most to dimensionalize Running, Fitness, Football, and Lifestyle, leveraging our on-the-ground connectivity to youth, sport & culture.

- Amplifying our Concept Map through complementary executions on the ground that build off Global-Geo campaigns, eg through pinnacle activations.

- Ensuring our Nike Sport Marketplace on the ground in France, and especially in Paris, shows up as pinnacle and sharply connected to our Field of Play visions.

- Fuelling our global engine with sharp, relevant consumer insights that can scale.

Who will you work with?

In this role you will work fluidly across the full Paris/France marketing team, and working with cross-functional marketing partners to bring your vision to life for our consumers in the city. You will work closely with the Nike Direct team & the MPUs, at Paris/France and EMEA level, and you will also work closely with the EMEA EKIN team to stay abreast of latest strategies and help share best practices.

You will report directly into the Manager, Retail Marketing, EKIN Paris/France.

The shape of your day-to-day work will vary significantly, and therefore your style and influence will have to adapt accordingly. You therefore must be collaborative, intuitive, and maximise the effectiveness of individual as well as collective thinking. You must be open to the opinions and expertise of those you engage with in order to apply coherent strategy and thinking that leads to new opportunities.

What will you work on?

As Specialist II, Retail Marketing, EKIN, Paris/France you will be part of the Paris/France Retail Marketing function, reporting directly to the Manager, Retail Marketing, EKIN Paris/France. In this role core duties will include:

- Delivering all seasonal and 365 education and engagement plans for priority field of play via the code planning process.

- Delivering localized training experiences to upskill and inspire retail employees across the NSM on Nike’s mission, brand and innovation.

- Partnering with the Paris/France marketing team to help deliver Nike’s brand and business objectives.

A successful candidate will be expected to clearly demonstrate and articulate experience of the below essential requirements in order to be considered. Candidates that meet these criteria will then be assessed based on the competencies also outlined below.

Essential requirements:

- A deep passion for our brand, our mission, and our innovation.

- A love of running and an awareness of how it is represented across the marketplace.

- Some experience, with a strong focus on innovation, of the marketplace, training, or marketing.

- Prior experience in Training delivery, project management, and digital content creation highly advantageous.

- A demonstrable understanding of the Paris consumer, the city and Nike’s position within it, with a track record of making strategic marketing decisions within this environment.

- A desire & willingness to adapt in an agile fashion to our consumers’ and organisation’s needs to deepen our relationships with members.

- This person will be required to travel and so a driver’s license is required.

- Fluent in French and a strong command of English language (both spoken and written).
