WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role sits within Japan Nike Direct Digital Commerce (NDDC) Platforms & Growth Site Experience team. The team brings together consumer journey design, digital merchandising, and performance learning to elevate Nike.com and Nike App experiences in Japan. The role partners closely with Digital Marketing, Merchandising, Planning, Operations, and agency teams to deliver connected, premium consumer experiences at speed.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The candidate is a consumer‑obsessed operator who translates Nike Sportswear (NSW) priorities into premium, locally relevant journeys across Nike.com and Nike App. They balance speed, precision, and cross‑functional alignment while operating with strong digital merchandising fundamentals and a data‑informed mindset. They use insights to diagnose performance, identify opportunities, and recommend clear, actionable improvements.
They bring crisp communication skills, strong stakeholder management, and the discipline to move multiple workstreams forward—spanning seasonal storytelling, campaign execution, and continuous optimization. They are comfortable navigating ambiguity, take proactive ownership, and influence effectively within a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in digital commerce, site experience, digital merchandising, or related digital roles
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Keynote, with preferred experience using Tableau and Adobe tools to support data analysis, performance reporting, visualization, and executive‑ready storytelling
- Demonstrated strong collaboration and communication skills within a complex, matrixed organization
- A genuine passion for elevating products and experiences along Nike’s “Path to Premium,” delivering stronger and more seamless consumer journeys
- Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Japanese
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You shape NSW site experiences across Nike.com and Nike App Japan, owning end‑to‑end execution from seasonal story planning through daily journey updates. You partner across P&G, Digital Marketing, Merchandising, and Operations to deliver premium consumer journeys, learn fast, and continuously raise performance.
- Execute approved NSW priorities through onsite experiences, delivering homepage and shop‑home placements as well as product walls that are locally relevant for the Japan consumer
- Build and maintain seasonal and weekly execution plans, leading cross‑functional kickoffs to ensure clarity, alignment, and on‑time delivery
- Monitor performance, develop clear readouts and recaps, and recommend optimizations grounded in data, insights, and consumer behavior
- Coordinate execution details with operations and agency or partner teams to ensure accuracy, quality, and speed to site
- Contribute to core NDDC rhythms such as Weekly Business Reviews (WBRs) and Seasonal Kick‑Offs (SKOs), supporting story, booking, and execution alignment across teams
