WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Sr. Allocator Operations to support the tools, process, and training that will deliver solutions to the Allocation function.  This person will build strong relationships and partner with Allocation, Buying, Planning, and Operations and serves as a champion for current and future Allocation capabilities in alignment with overall Nike Inc. strategic initiatives.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training

  • A minimum of 3 years directly relevant work experience

  • Track record evaluating existing business process, making recommendations, and defining new processes

  • Ability to concisely present complex information/recommendations in meaningful terms to various audiences

  • A deep understanding of how to use data to drive decisions and communicate business needs effectively.

  • Demonstrated experience in allocation planning and understanding of financial, product and inventory planning

  • Curiosity, ability to listen, and attention to detail

  • Excellent working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and Power Business Intelligence (BI) is preferred

  • Strong understanding of merchandise, consumer, and FOP as it relates to Nike Direct strategy

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

This role will help build and deliver tools, reporting, and process that support the complex store ecosystem.  This role acts as a partner to the Allocation function and will deliver improvements that elevates the business insights and capabilities of the function, while also supporting the work with cross-functional partners.  The Sr. Allocator will take the lead on specific work streams and will be responsible to delivering business solutions that drive the function forward.

  • Develop a strong understanding of Allocation and X-Functional business needs and create partnerships that deliver business solutions.

  • Identify and deliver options to standardize, streamline, or simplify existing reporting and information used by Allocation teams.

  • Partner cross-functionally to implement new ways of working across teams, including Merchandising, Planning, MSC, etc. and influencing change across business partners as required.

  • Act as a SME within the allocation systems (Just Enough, Closeout Optimization) to help solve problems, identify potential improvements, and help drive the future tool roadmap.

  • Act as a champion for the Allocation function and advocate for the future vision of the function within and across teams.

  • Support the implementation of new processes through in-person trainings and communication.
