WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

Nike boasts the largest supply chain in the sportswear industry, managing over $25B in annual costs. Within Nike, the Asia Pacific and Latin America (APLA) geography has the most complex marketplace supply chain network, managing 16 distribution centers across 11 countries and serving over 3 billion consumers. This role will support the APLA Supply Chain team in its mission to better serve consumers while unlocking improved service and cost efficiencies.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to serve as a finance partner to the Supply Chain organization in APLA. We need a self-starter who can deliver results in ambiguous situations using strategic and financial insights to influence cross-functional partners. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and the ability to translate financial metrics across a wide range of cross-functional audiences. We are also looking for a team player who is curious to learn and driven to develop their skillset.

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or an equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, accounting, and/or budgeting
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SAP/ECC and/or S4-Hana is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and run financial models
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to build trusting work relationships and lead cross-functional deliverables and processes
  • Proven experience in effectively supporting and working with senior leadership

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will be responsible for driving financial reporting, strategic investment review, and ensuring alignment with financial targets across the end-to-end marketplace supply chain.

  • Drive monthly reporting and forecasting processes for logistics costs, including developing financial models and analyzing cost per unit (CPU) variance
  • Partner closely with Territory Supply Chain Finance and Logistics teams to provide logistics cost guidance and direction
  • Provide clear storytelling to APLA Marketplace Supply Chain senior leadership, Global Supply Chain Finance, and APLA Margin Planning teams through analytics and insights
  • Support in-year management of supply chain investments for APLA and drive monthly investment review sessions with key stakeholders
  • Lead efforts to identify, drive, and supervise cost efficiency/productivity gains across the APLA logistics organization
  • Develop new tools and processes to support financial planning and reporting as part of finance transformation and change management from new finance tools like Group Reporting, COGNOS, Anaplan Forecasting, and SAP
  • Provide ad hoc analysis to the team and be a strategic business partner to influence key supply chain decisions
