WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
Within the Marketplace Supply Chain CEMEA team, you will be part of the CEMEA MSC Leadership team, collaborate in the MSC Extended Leadership team for EMEA and lead a team of Supply Chain Managers each with their own group of specialists.
You will partner and liaise with the account leadership (external), account facing cross functional team, seasonal excellence teams, planning, finance, logistics & transportation, global supply chain and technology.
This role reports to Senior Director Supply Chain, CEMEA.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As Senior Manager, Supply Chain CEMEA you will:
Provide business and team leadership towards fulfillment of orders to our commercial partners in Central Europe, Middle East and Africa region, in close partnership with our European Logistics and Transportation teams
You will bring strong E2E operations and commercial management experience to ensure effective KPI focus and business delivery while obsessing our Consumer Promise KPI’s (Service, Convenience, Sustainability and Profitability) You will, individually or through your team, set short and long term supply chain goals, create and deliver initiatives and results towards our operational and commercial strategy
You will represent the voice of Supply Chain operations towards our internal and external stakeholders to drive efficient operations and mutually profitable growth
In order to be successful in this role you will need to be able to embrace and lead change, deal with ambiguity, and act with courage. You will need to be able to bring a mature leadership style to lead and develop your team, foster effective teamwork, and ensure clarity and accountability to the CEMEA teams.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate the below criteria;
You have experience in leading and coaching a team of at least 3 direct reports for a period of at least 5 years. You are able to set challenging and engaging objectives, set up the right ways of working, navigate tough conversations to ensure that you bring out the best in the team and for the business and rally the team behind these goals. Additional consideration will be given if you have managed a group of leaders who have their own team management responsibilities
You have at least 8 years proven experience in Supply Chain, additional consideration for experience Logistics (transportation and/or distribution) and or Planning. You have proven experience in managing multipl/complex supply chains, operating in complex/diverse regions as well as with external partners.
You have led improvement initiatives involving multiple, x-functional stakeholders and delivered clearly identified results and a measurable impact, through process improvements. You delivered results through own work and teamwork.
You have strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly communicate with and influence various levels within a matrix organization. You have clear examples of situations where you have influenced x-functional stakeholders through your work and presented your work to senior leadership in the organization.
You have a strategic mindset and able to define and bring a future vision to life via strategy deployment and project management.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
If this is you, you will lead a team of Supply Chain Managers, each with a team of Supply Chain Specialists and Snr Specialists, focused in serving the CEMEA marketplace through a combination of distributor models and local accounts and partners.
We expect you to:
Drive service model differentiation and operational performance in partnership with EMEA Logistics and Transportation teams to deliver mutually profitable growth with your scope of account partners
Create and drive the CEMEA Supply Chain multi year strategy, as well as translate and link this to the Commercial strategy to grow and serve our CEMEA partners through internal and external collaboration
Be the Supply Chain voice in the account squads and leadership teams, responsible for operationalizing commercially and financially aligned plans accounting for operational realities
Demonstrate strong skills in matrix management to influence and prioritize work in close collaboration with the cross functional teams to ensure an aligned approach towards operational execution
Lead our MSC change with focus on standardization, consistency and efficiency by championing the vision and approach with internal and external stakeholders
Foster a culture of continuous improvement related to our tools, processes and end to end collaboration with your key x-functional partners
Develop Supply Chain Talent – Lead, develop and grow a team of Managers and Specialists to serve the CEMEA marketplace
Empower and lead the CEMEA Supply Chain team based in EHQ, to drive a culture of inclusion, engagement.
