As Sr Merchant, Global ACG Footwear your role will be to connect the needs of our consumer with exciting and innovative product solutions. You will work on Global Marketplace Offerings that attract and engage new and existing consumers. You will report to the Director of Global ACG Footwear Merchandising.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive experience in Merchandising, preferably in FW. They will have a pre-existing Consumerist Mindset and be able to demonstrate Knowledge and Expertise about the Outdoor Industry. They will be proficient in fundamental Merchandising skills of Lineplanning, Assortment Building and Reading/Responding to Marketplace Product Performance Metrics.

Specific Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business, or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
  • 2+ years of directly relevant work experience within Footwear, Apparel, Equipment or relevant consumer product merchandising.
  • Must be able to be physically present to work on location at Nike PHK.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

In the role of Sr Merchant, Global ACG Footwear you will support the execution against the ACG Product Merchandising strategy. You will assist in bringing the ACG vision to life via consumer-led Product Line Plans and Channel Offering frameworks. You will support and enable the process of direct feedback loops with Geo Merchandising and Nike Direct Merchandising to ensure Geo input is incorporated at each key moment in the Code Calendar.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lineplanning: Through focussed work on FW, you will assist to support a combined ACG Lineplan spanning across Product Engines (FW, APP, ACC). You will integrate Consumer Concepts into line plans and ensure all plans are grounded in financial metrics.
  • Channel Offering Creation: You will support the execution of end-in-mind planning. You will create marketplace distinction leveraging seasonal channel offerings. You’ll assist in alignment with other Sport focussed teams to ensure a cohesive product offering in market.
  • Product Journeys: You’ll lead and support the creation and maintenance of Product Journeys that will excite and engage new/existing ACG Consumers.
  • Franchise Management: You’ll drive marketplace health through autonomous franchise management.
  • Leadership: You’ll have opportunity to drive Merchandising Excellence through process enhancement and enablement.
  • Relationship Building: Critical to the success of the Merchandising function, developing effective working relationships with Product, Planning, Supply Chain, Brand and Marketplace teams will be essential. You will be required to be highly-effective in a collaborative environment.
