WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
The SEC CoreERP Organization is transitioning to managed services model to align with Nike’s overall strategy. To help enable this, we are seeking a Sr Principal, ERP supply chain to lead SAP Advanced Production Support Operations and partner with SEC Capability and Run teams to manage delivery of planned backlog work.
The candidate will work with -
- Program & SEC Leadership Teams – engage regularly, align on priorities, and advise on roadmap decisions
- Business Teams – across regions and functions on new requirements, design, providing expertise and ensuring transparency on issues, backlog, and delivery timelines
- Managed Service Partner – direct oversight of day-to-day support, escalation handling, and functional design review
- Cross-Application Tech Teams – coordinate when complex production issues or planned backlog work require multi-team collaboration
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
This role requires a product expert who is well-versed in all SAP Supply Chain modules and own delivery of new enhancements. This role will also plan, strategize, communicate, and manage timelines as we deliver stabilization efforts through effective Problem resolution, redesign, and automation. The successful candidate will be a servant leader with Techno functional expertise and ability to create a clear e2e roadmap. Lead delivery through clear communication, teamwork, creativity, strategic thinking, problem-solving, commitment, inclusion, and positivity. Experience working in a matrixed and distributed organization and proven track record of bringing structure and clarity in a highly ambiguous environment.
- Hands-on experience with implementation, support, upgrade and product management and delivery in SAP AFS and S/4 HANA Supply Chain (Order Management, Trade & Transportation, Billing & Pricing, Promising & Allocations, Functional CAR)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
- 8–10 years of technology leadership, with 3–5 years in enterprise ERP operations leadership
- Strong background in Tier-1 ERP delivery and production support leadership
- Proven ability to manage distributed and offshore support teams
- Experience with IT Service Management practices and process design
- Strong executive presence: able to influence without authority and build trust with senior leaders
- Ability to navigate both Agile and Waterfall delivery models
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
- Intake, Roadmap & Backlog Management
- Own the capability roadmap (enhancements, redesign, and new requirements)
- Review, prioritize, and manage intake requests from stakeholders
- Facilitate alignment across Finance, Supply Chain & Planning for prioritization efforts
- Ensure roadmap reflects both strategic initiatives and operational improvements
- Delivery & Transition Leadership
- Represent Supply Chain capabilities in PI Planning and solution governance forums
- Oversee transition-to-support deliverables for new releases and provide stage-gate sign-off
- Partner with Hypercare and business teams on release stabilization activities
- Ensure changes in AFS and S/4 Fashion are prioritized and deployed without disrupting business operations
ERP Operations & Expertise
- Provide techno-functional SME leadership across Nike’s ERP environment
- Partner with MSP teams to resolve complex issues beyond standard support capability
- Oversee solution stabilization and guide prioritization of production support activities
- Review and approve functional documentation submitted by MSP before deployment
- Supplier Management & Governance
- Lead MSP Operating Reviews and provide oversight to day-to-day production support
- Ensure proper governance of MSP performance and SLA adherence
- Serve as escalation point for blockers and business-critical production issues
- Balance conflicting priorities and drive consensus on resolutions
- Review config rationale documents, functional Specs
