Sr. Principal, Technical Product Management Nike Inc.- Beaverton, OR. Develops information technology strategies, polices and plans. Responsible for analysis, design, implementation, operations, and support of the organization's IT resources, systems, and software/database products; responsible for delivery, governance and monitoring of project(s) and/or program(s) from initiation through delivery, interfacing with engineering and product managers; responsible for a discipline or major/multiple departments, translates organization objectives into a clear team strategy, and sets and meets goals that can have far reaching impact on business segment; solve problems were problems are not clearly defined and sufficient information may not be available, issues are complex where fundamental principles do not clearly apply or where data appears to conflict, and manages issues and resolves conflicts across cross functional teams, both internally and externally; accountable for results which impact the entire business segment; is a functional budget holder; maintains deliberate connections cross-functionally; responsible for the development of a team of professional managers and experienced individual contributors; responsible for talent management and may provide input into succession planning and segmentation activities; and responsible for performance management, pay, and resourcing decisions for direct and indirect reports. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY. 

Must havea Master’s degree in Computer Science and 6 years of experience in the job offered or in a product-related occupation.  

Position requires:  

  • Creating product strategy & vision including business case and ROI modeling 

  • Defining product briefs, PRDs and ability to translate business needs into technical requirements 

  • Integrated solution road mapping and portfolio alignment 

  • Analytical skills for data-driven decision-making and KPI definition, ownership and tracking 

  • Agile, Scrum, and Lean principles for product delivery. 

  • Prioritizing backlogs and managing iterative development cycles. 

  • Deep understanding and experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC), cloud 

  • technologies, APIs, and system architecture. 

  • Modern technology stacks (e.g., microservices, SaaS platforms, data analytics, cloud 

  • technologies). Ability to bridge technical and business requirements for complex enterprise solutions. 

  • API design, data architecture, and system integration concepts 

  • Devops (CICD pipelines), and engineering workflows (git hub, APIs). 

  • Budget ownership and financial planning 

  • Knowledge of regulatory data & Al, data governance, security and privacy guidelines, and application of solutions to manage
