Stores District Senior Manager, Japan

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

This role works closely with Head Coaches, store management teams, and frontline leaders across the district. They also partner with cross‑functional HQ teams—including HR, Loss Prevention, and Store Operation—while regularly collaborating with the Director of Stores to align strategy, resolve issues, and elevate overall performance. 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a dynamic district leader who can inspire teams, elevate store performance, and translate brand vision into strong operational results. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, a skilled people developer, and a collaborative partner who thrives in a fast‑paced retail environment while driving consistent, high‑quality execution across multiple stores.

  • 8+ years of experience in retail, including 5+ years leading teams and managers in a multi-site environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven ability to set strategy and drive end-to-end business and consumer service goal
  • Strong and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and influence stakeholders for clarity
  • Fluent in Japanese, Basic English communication skill in English (Written and verbal communication)

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You are responsible for driving business performance across a designated district by aligning brand vision, operational excellence, and talent strategy. This role oversees multiple stores, ensuring consistent execution of brand standards, strong leadership development, and sustainable business growth. Through close partnership with Headquarters and store leadership teams, you play a critical role in elevating customer experience and operational productivity.

  • Drive District Business Performance Align brand vision and talent strategy with Head Coaches (HCs) to achieve ambitious sales and service goals across the district.
  • Create Strategies for Profitability and Productivity Build and execute actionable plans that maximize profitability, improve operational efficiency, and support sustainable business growth.
  • Ensure Consistent Brand and Operational Excellence Foster accountability and high performance to ensure all stores deliver a consistent, elevated brand experience and adhere to operational standards.
  • Partner with HQ to Resolve Issues Collaborate with HR, Loss Prevention (LP), and Store Operation teams to proactively address escalated issues, ensuring quick resolution and minimal business disruption.
  • Provide Field Insights to Leadership Identify trends and key observations from stores and communicate them to the Director of Stores to inform district and company-wide strategies.
  • Lead Firstline Leadership Development Design and implement the district’s training strategy to ensure all teams are equipped with the skills needed for success.
  • Conduct Regular Store Visits Visit stores frequently to assess operations, provide tailored coaching to HCs and store leaders, and reinforce best practices in real time.
