At Nike Direct Supply Management, we sit at the intersection of product, timing, and consumer experience. As a Supply Chain Specialist based in the Netherlands, you will support inventory execution and operational readiness across Nike Direct channels, helping deliver premium consumer experiences during key launches and everyday demand — whether consumers shop in a Nike store or online. We continuously elevate our strategy and drive improvements across our supply chain to raise the bar on service and availability for our consumers.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

  • As a Supply Chain Nike Direct Supply Management Specialist, you will support operational excellence across relevant Nike systems and tools and help enable premium service across Nike Direct channels, always starting with the consumer in mind. 

  • You will apply strong analytical skills and solid operational knowledge to support Nike Direct order book management, product flow, and day-to-day execution, contributing to reliable outcomes while optimizing cost.

  • You will support the analysis and preparation of supply insights, helping simplify data and clearly communicate risks, opportunities, and status updates to cross-functional stakeholders across Nike Direct. 

  • You will contribute to the execution and readiness of Key Retail Moments and Product Launches, supporting data preparation, operational follow-up, and coordination within Sport focused crews.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON

  • Execute system transactions towards effective contracts management to support demand–supply alignment and provide clear visibility into inventory flow and availability across Nike Direct channels. 

  • Deliver accurate, timely coverage and performance data to support pre- and in-seasonal reviews, enabling transparency on risks, gaps, and trade-offs aligned with Nike Direct Supply Chain and Sport priorities. 

  • Support execution readiness for Key Retail Moments, campaigns, and product launches through coverage analysis, data preparation, and operational follow-up across Nike Direct.

  • Provide data-driven insights by working with large operational datasets and supporting trade-off discussions with fact-based inputs.

  • Lead small sized improvement projects by applying project management tools and skills to define and follow-up on actions. Participate in medium to large sized cross-functional projects as the Nike Direct Supply management subject matter expert.

  • Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to support day-to-day supply chain execution aligned with commercial priorities. Contribute to cross-functional forums by sharing Nike Direct Supply Management perspective.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will work in a cross-functional agile environment that spans across EMEA and services the Nike Direct operational business needs. You will partner closely with Supply chain, Logistics, Merchandising, Planning and Allocation functions. You will report to Manager Supply Chain ND Supply Management. This role has no direct reports.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 1-3 years’ experience in a supply chain, operations, allocation, planning, or back of house leadership role for a Retail or Consumer Goods business, and a passion for operations.

  • Omnichannel Retail mindset and Experience.

  • Service/ Consumer and Product Obsession.

  • Understanding of Supply Chain Planning & Operations and general business knowledge.

  • Orderbook management knowledge and Financial acumen.

  • Analytical Mindset: experience in KPI management and root cause analysis using excel and/or Tableau & perform deep dive analysis. Analytical & entrepreneurial skills which support a result driven approach delivering operational excellence.

  • Strong verbal and written communication: ability to translate complex supply chain issues into concise insights, bringing recommendations that facilitates decision making.

  • Influencing X-functional stakeholders: ambition to drive change, and ability to communicate and influence various levels within a matrix structure and multinational teams. 

  • Problem solving mentality with desire to improve processes & tools.

  • Strong service focus and a proactive demeanor.

  • Solid Excel knowledge and ability to pick up new systems quickly. SAP and Tableau knowledge preferred.
