WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

The Supply Chain Supervisor, NA will lead a team of 4 Specialist Is. They will be working cross-functionally with our Merch, Allocations, Logistics, Transportation, Store Operations and Field Territory Managers. They will report to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain ND, Launch and Brand Moments in Marketplace Supply Chain - Nike Direct.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Supply Chain Supervisor to join the Nike Team! We are looking for somebody with knowledge and experience in supply chain who will be able to lead and grow a team. They will need to have the ability to work cross functionally to move product through our complex supply chain network. We would like them to have experience working with large data sets. They need to be able to teach, develop and grow people. They will be sitting in meetings with leadership regularly and need to be able to build PowerPoints and present with confidence. 

The ideal candidate would have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, or training
  • 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and proactiveness
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite
  • Experience with SAP, Excel, Tableau, and ThoughtSpot
  • Experience with Smartsheet's or Air Table
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and curate short and long-term supply chain strategies to support continuous improvements

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

A Supply Chain Supervisor on the MSC - Nike Direct team will be leading a team of 4 Specialist I’s that will be covering specific regions of the country and will be responsible for managing New Store Openings, Brand Moments, and other critical brand projects to life across our Nike Direct Stores. They will be working very closely with our Territory Managers to provide visibility and support to the projects that are coming from our Brand teams. They will support in moments like the Super Bowl, NBA All-Star Week, WNBA All-Star Week, Chicago Marathon, etc. They will also be helping build an offense to help support our Territory Managers in things like service channel, stores flow, seasonal load-ins, delivery schedules, lead time, and order pool health.
 

In this role, a Supply Chain Supervisor is expected to:

  • Manage complex projects involving many cross functional stake holders
  • Conduct and lead large meetings with all layers of leadership
  • Have a deep understanding of our Nike Direct Stores and how they operate
  • Build out new tools and processes to allow teams to have visibility to the status of these high visibility projects
  • Have an understanding of our Logistics organization and be able to articulate what is and isn't possible to commercial teams
  • Drive standard reporting to provide order tracking in season and forward looking to ensure on time delivery and efficient supply chain flow
