WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

As part of the Nike Code Business Integration Team, you will be the main contact for Serena Lab Showroom projects assigned to you. You will work with key stakeholders from the Sport Business Integration teams to understand their needs and help with all aspects of the showroom setup. You will work daily with Nike teammates and vendors to plan, coordinate, and oversee the installation processes. You will work onsite on Nike Campus directly with Beaverton-based teammates.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills to develop key relationships, excellent planning skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects. This position requires understanding what it takes to develop a Sport showroom to display product, what it costs, and how best to manage the budget using best practices in project and transition management.   

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.

  • 4+ years of experience in a professional working environment. Experience in footwear, product testing, development, merchandising, marketing, engineering, retail, athletics, or customer service is a plus.

  • Ability to analyze trends and make recommendations. Experience gathering facts and problem-solving using LEAN or 6th sigma methods is a plus.

  • Strong planning skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Keynote presentation

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, spreadsheets, and word documents

  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing 20 pounds.

  • Passion for sports is a plus.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

A typical day involves problem-solving, communicating, and interacting with key partners in Sport Business Integration Teams. Your excellent communication skills will be needed to draft clear emails, request meetings, set clear objectives for meetings, facilitate meetings to solve problems, and capture fast-paced conversations in simple action plans and next steps.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

  • Successfully execute as a lab coordinator by approaching each situation with curiosity, gathering and summarizing key facts, researching and summarizing options and solutions, and implementing solutions with key stakeholders and the Code activation team. This will involve anticipating and quickly resolving potential challenges such as scheduling conflicts, shifting priorities, and resource gaps with minimal disruption.

  • Lead Program and Project Support by driving timelines, tasks, and deliverables to ensure initiatives move forward on time and within scope.

  • Lead Stakeholder Management by learning the Nike organization, identifying key functions and roles for each room build, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, anticipating needs, and providing visibility into program progress.

  • Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration by partnering closely with other business areas such as brand, design, product, and merchandising to align priorities, resources, and execution.

  • Develop solid agendas and facilitate meetings by supporting leadership in setting goals and priorities, facilitating workshops with key stakeholders, and translating strategy into actionable room build plans.

  • Track regular progress in summary scorecards to provide timely and accurate visibility into build status and identify areas needing problem-solving.

  • Optimize workflows and tools by identifying inefficiencies and implementing new tools, processes, and systems to make the team more efficient and innovative.

  • Assist with budget management, track expenses, and provide reporting to ensure projects stay on target financially.
