WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

As a Technique Developer II, this role drives Converse innovate Product Creation, boasting a culture of creativity from concept to commercialization. This role based in Ninh Bình, North Vietnam and Adora (ADO) factory. You will report to Senior Manager, Footwear Development – Converse and collaborating with Converse Footwear Technical Service (CTS), Boston Headquarters (HQ) and T1 factory partner to meet product key deliverables.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a candidate who is highly adoptable and result oriented. This individual should possess exceptional problem-solving skill and be able to work collaboratively within stakeholders to deliver product excellence through brand-right product execution, competitive product pricing, desired product quality with on-time delivery.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training.

  • Minimum 6 years of Footwear industry relevant technical experience which includes the footwear development process from inception through production including pattern making, grading, construction, materials, costing, manufacturing, and quality.

  • Solid understanding of end-to-end footwear product creation process.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate goals and objectives.

  • Creative problem-solving skill from concept to application.

  • Excellent organization skill with strong sense of urgency, attention to details.

  • Team Player and able to work in an environment with high interdependencies between teams and cross-cultural colleagues.

  • Proficiency with soft skill included PowerPoint, Word, Excel.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

In this role, with moderate supervision, you will contribute to cross‑functional collaboration to support timely product creation and sample delivery. You will apply a foundational understanding of footwear construction and manufacturing to help ensure manufacturability, performance, and profitability of product concepts through disciplined execution and structured problem-solving. You will:

  • Support cross‑functional partners to execute the product creation process in line with critical dates and development gates.

  • Apply foundational footwear knowledge to contribute to creative solutions and ensure products meet defined performance and quality requirements.

  • Participate in decision-making related to product confirmation and sample delivery, escalating risks and issues as needed.

  • Execute assigned deliverables with guidance to ensure timely sample builds and product readiness.
