In order to stay at the top of our game, we’re looking for an Instore Trainer who can train our teams to provide the kind of above-and-beyond service that inspires Nike fans for life!

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

These are all of the great day to day activities you’ll be involved in;

DRIVE TRAINING STRATEGY

  • Provide leadership as a training expert and change-leadership champion.

  • Consistently leverage training tools and platforms to support in-store training.

  • Use the seasonal training calendar, onboarding cadence, global /geo program rollouts and initiatives and Pre-Season Rally’s to determine channel training strategies, plans and needs.  

PREPARE THE TEAM FOR TRAINING

  • Partner with Field and Store Leaders / In-Store Trainers to educate and inspire Athletes 

  • Partner with Field Leader and Geography Training Delivery Manager to drive training experiences to support the effective launch of pilots, new programs and program updates, as needed.

  • Conduct Train-the-Trainer events to prepare teams for training delivery.  

  • Engage with Store Leaders to promote consistent standards and expectations, the use of consistent training materials and  continually impactful learning experiences.

TRACK, MEASURE AND ASSESS

  • Gather feedback to ensure the successful completion of training. 

  • Observe skills and behaviors in action to determine impact and effectiveness of training efforts. 

  • Identify gaps in knowledge, skill and performance and provide training recommendations. 

  • Partner with Store Leaders to monitor the effectiveness of training and influence improvements by providing direct feedback to Field Leaders and Geography partners. 

STORE VISITS

  • Quarterly Store visit per year to each store in the territory(Budget Dependent)

  • Store visit will be for the purpose of energizing the team, training and/or evaluating service.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE
To be successful in this role, these are all the great things you can bring to Nike;

  • Assistant Head Coach or Higher.

  • Experience in delivering premium consumer experience.

  • Experience in Coaching & Training leaders.

  • Retail Leadership experience.

  • Ability to communicate and lead trainings at scale.

The successful candidate will work a rotating roster and must be available to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed.
