WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a Works Council Secretary who will provide objective, impartial and highly organized executional support to the Works Council at Nike, Inc.
The role ensures continuity, structure and clarity in all Works Council operations while upholding confidentiality and operational excellence.
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of the Dutch Works Council Act (WOR)
- Ability to remain impartial, objective and maintain confidentiality
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch
- Ability to work with ambiguity, change and pressure
- Strong organizational skills: tracking actions, archiving and scheduling.
- Comfort with research, legal developments and operational execution
- Ability to foster teamwork and value difference
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
In this role, you will support the day‑to‑day functioning of the Works Council. You will organize meeting agendas, write minutes, maintain shared mailboxes and calendars, and keep the Works Council website up to date. You will assist in drafting responses to RfCs/RfAs, conduct research on legal developments, track follow‑up actions and maintain structured archives. Additionally, you will support the Communication Committee and Coordination Committee including budget tracking, vendor setup and organizing trainings, teambuildings or offsites.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will collaborate closely with the Works Council, HR and business EMEA teams. You will also coordinate with external vendors, legal partners and cross‑functional Nike teams as needed.
Note: This is a part-time job.
