Lead Professional, Brand Marketing, Running, Spain

Based in Barcelona, you will be part of the Spanish marketing team, playing a key role in bringing Nike’s Sport Offense to life in the country. This role sits at the heart of how Nike shows up for runners and athletes across Spain, connecting deeply with youth, sport and culture, and shaping impactful brand storytelling on the ground.

As Lead Professional, Brand Marketing Running, you will help amplify Nike’s Concept Map through locally relevant executions, elevate pinnacle brand moments, and ensure our sport vision shows up powerfully across Running, Training and Agile. You will fuel the broader Nike engine with sharp consumer insights, helping inform and shape future strategy.

Who you’ll work with

You will work fluidly across the Spain marketing team and collaborate cross‑functionally with key partners including Sports Marketing and Consumer Insights, all in service of athletes* across the territory.

You will also build and manage strong relationships with key external partners — individuals, communities and organisations that best represent Nike’s brand values and help bring our sport strategies to life locally.

This role reports directly to the Senior Manager, Brand Marketing, Running, Training and Agile, Spain, and requires close collaboration with Geo and EMEA Brand Marketing partners.

We are looking for a talented and influential brand marketeer with a strong passion for running and a deep curiosity for the young consumer. You bring a clear connection to the running community and marketplace, with the ability to uncover and tell stories that inspire the next generation to move.

You bring a strong cross‑functional mindset, with extensive experience working across brand, digital and retail marketing, ideally within sport‑led or running‑focused environments. You thrive in creative spaces, foster innovation, and help build a culture of inspiration and collaboration. You embody Nike’s values, adapt quickly in a fast‑changing landscape, and approach challenges with a positive growth mindset.

What you’ll bring:

  • A genuine passion for running, with experience working within the running marketplace, community or sport‑led brand environments.

  • Extensive experience in brand and cross‑functional marketing, with the ability to translate strategy into impactful local executions.

  • A deep understanding of runners and running culture at a territory level, and a desire to connect authentically with communities across Spain.

  • Proven ability to identify, build and manage meaningful relationships with external partners aligned to brand and sport objectives.

  • Confidence working in agile environments, adapting priorities as business and brand needs evolve.

  • The ability to build trust quickly through authenticity, integrity and reliability.

  • A collaborative mindset that values diverse perspectives and fosters effective teamwork.

  • Strong accountability, taking ownership of outcomes and embedding feedback into ways of working.

  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to articulate vision and inspire others to action.

What you’ll work on

As Lead Professional, Brand Marketing Running, Spain, you will be responsible for driving Nike’s Running point of view on the ground in Spain.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Identifying individuals, communities and organisations that best align with Nike’s brand values and bring running strategies to life, and managing these relationships in a sustainable and impactful way.

  • Partnering with Geo Sport Brand Marketing teams to amplify key Concept Map stories through on‑the‑ground executions, including pinnacle Nike brand moments and marketplace partner activations.

  • Managing local relationships to ensure consistent, authentic brand representation across the territory.

  • Gathering structured and continuous consumer insights to better serve runners and athletes* in Barcelona and across Spain, and feeding these insights back to EMEA and Global teams to inform longer‑term strategy.

  • Remaining agile across marketing priorities, stepping into other functional or sport‑related work as needed to ensure pinnacle execution of Nike’s most critical brand and business moments.
