WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking an exciting, inspiring and collaborative leader to oversee our studio Creative team. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional creative taste, a deep understanding of premium brand aesthetics, and an ability to set the standard for Nike’s visual identity in China. Equal parts visionary and pragmatic, this individual will balance innovative thinking with operational excellence. A proven leader, you must excel in directing high-performing teams, fostering collaboration across disciplines, and maintaining strong relationships with cross-functional partners. You understand how to inspire and manage a diverse team while championing creativity that is bold, thoughtful, and always aligned with Nike's brand values.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
As the Director of Studio Creative, you will lead a team of studio creatives, stylists and digital imaging experts responsible for defining the look of Nike in Greater China, with a focus on ecommerce (product photography, style guides, live streaming, other premium creative formats). You will ensure every piece of content leaving the studio meets Nike’s uncompromising brand standards, from the smallest e-commerce image to more complex production.
You will:
Develop and uphold the creative vision for ICON.SH, ensuring alignment with Nike's global brand direction while tailoring it to resonate with the China market.
Partner closely with leaders across Production, Post Production, Operations, and Business Planning to deliver content that is as effective operationally as it is aesthetically.
Inspire a team of stylists, photographers, designers and digital imaging experts to push creative boundaries while delivering on tight timelines.
Be accountable for the creative quality of all studio output, balancing premium execution with the agility to meet business needs, and that of the respective Marketing Brand creative leaders of the different service classes.
Build systems, workflows and equipment stack that promote consistency, efficiency, and ongoing innovation in creative processes.
Collaborate with global counterparts within the ICON.Studios network to share best practices and uphold a cohesive Nike brand voice worldwide.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will report directly to the Senior Director of ICON.SH, have dotted line reporting to the respective creative leaders of each service class, and collaborate with:
Studio leadership across Production, Post Production, Operations, and Business Planning.
Internal cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Marketplace, Merchandising, Business Affairs, Legal, Finance, HR, Procurement and Technology.
External partners and vendors in production, casting, and post-production.
Global counterparts within the ICON.Studios network.
WHAT YOU BRING
Minimum 10+ years of experience in creative leadership roles for premium brands or agencies, with a focus on fashion, sports, or lifestyle.
Proven expertise in defining and delivering high-quality creative content, including styling, photography, and campaign development.
A refined aesthetic sensibility and a strong grasp of current trends in design, fashion, and visual culture.
Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team of creatives, fostering an environment of collaboration, innovation, and respect.
Strong relationship-building skills with both internal teams and external partners.
