Overview of the Job:

  • The role is responsible to set merchandising strategy, lead the team to bring end to end product insight with global and geo counterparts.  Serve consumer with the most relevant products to enable Nike’s vision and drive sustainable growth. 
  • Focus on Jordan & Kids APP

Reporting Line:

  • Direct report to Senior Supervisor, Merchandising, Jordan & Kids GC

Key Partnership:

  • Global ND Merch
  • NSO & NDDC & NSP Merch Team
  • Jordan & Kids Sports Merch Team
  • License Partner
  • Sports Business Director / Retail Marketing / VM / Assortment Planning / Allocation Team / Store team

Job Responsibility:

  • Take ownership of KIDS APP assortment
  • Take ownership of License assortment and process
  • Set fundamental data source and system support
  • Be a consumer, product and merchandising expert for NSO channel
  • Build product assortments aligned with the strategy and vision for Nike Direct channels and handle all the deliverables according to consumer code.
  • Ensure assortments support financial targets in partnership with Planning.
  • Create channel distinction to drive business healthy growth.
  • Drive franchise health across the portfolio, aligned by Sports and marketplace team

Functional Skill Required (Hard skills):

  • Fluent in English
  • Retail and financial acumen, analytical skills.
  • Consumer and marketplace (retail) knowledge.
  • Merchandising skill-set
  • Office tools

Experience Required (Soft skills):

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple conversations
  • APP experience is preferred
  • Retail experience is preferred
  • Strong passion & knowledge of Sports (Kids, Jordan) culture & community
