WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll be part of Nike’s Advanced Innovation team, reporting to the Sr. Director of Strategic Partnerships. This role collaborates across innovation, strategy, sourcing, legal, and external partners to design and execute partnership models that accelerate Nike’s most forward-thinking initiatives.

Nike is seeking a dynamic leader with a passion for innovation and a proven ability to build strategic partnerships that drive transformative outcomes. The ideal candidate combines business acumen with creativity, thrives in ambiguous environments, and excels at influencing across a matrixed organization. They bring experience in business development, operations, finance, and strategy, and can move seamlessly from vision-setting to hands-on execution. Intellectual and emotional intelligence are key, as is the ability to marshal resources, align stakeholders, and deliver results that matter.
Key Qualifications:
- Located in Beaverton, OR and able to travel up to 15%
- 7–10 years of experience in strategic planning, corporate development, business development, management consulting, or related fields
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Strategy or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
- Expertise in intellectual property transactions strongly preferred
- Proven track record in partnership development and integration
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You’ll lead Nike’s partnership strategy for Advanced Innovation, focusing on materials, machinery, and services that bring athlete dreams to life. You’ll source, evaluate, and manage strategic relationships that unlock new opportunities for Nike and its partners.
Core Responsibilities:
- Drive a partnership portfolio strategy in collaboration with Nike innovators
- Source and evaluate potential partners, negotiate agreements, and manage relationships
- Attend key strategy and portfolio reviews, providing focus and clarity to innovation initiatives
- Work closely with legal and sourcing teams to ensure compliance and alignment with Nike standards
- Identify and vet partners that support Nike’s Win Now strategy and long-term innovation goals
