WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for an experienced Digital Brand Senior Manager to lead our Soccer Digital Brand Marketing offense in North America, focused on leading Soccer/American Football. The Senior Manager, Digital Marketing Soccer in North America is a seasoned digital marketer with a deep understanding of consumers—their lifestyles and online behaviors. This person will support both brand and business objectives, connecting athletes* with innovative experiences and compelling stories that reinforce the company's position as an industry-leading sport and lifestyle brand. Demonstrating teamwork and initiative, the Senior Manager is curious, driven to innovate, and embraces a culture of testing, learning from failure, and evolving strategies. Valuing consumer insights, the Senior Manager also appreciates the creative process and understands the importance of marketing technology, O2O (online-to-offline), and digital direct-to-consumer channels. As a thought partner, digital evangelist, and consumer advocate, the Senior Manager is always ready to contribute new ideas and drive innovation.
In this role, the Senior Manager is responsible for leading the digital marketing strategy to transform Nike’s brand into the most sophisticated, athlete-focused digital brand. Working as part of the integrated marketing team, the Senior Manager brings best-in-class brand and commerce experiences to life for consumers, supporting an integrated Consumer Marketplace approach.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
North America Digital Marketing is a team of innovative thinkers dedicated to driving the cultural relevance and business of Nike Soccer across Nike’s digital ecosystem. Collaborating closely with our Nike Soccer and Nike Global Football Brand partners, Creatives, and Global Teams, we strive to push the boundaries of the digital landscape, ensuring consumer engagement both on and off our platforms.
Specifically, this role will collaborate and partner with the following key internal and external stakeholders to build integrated marketing plans: Brand Management, Digital Marketing Experiences, Digital Commerce, Brand Creative, Integrated Media, Energy Marketing, Product & Merchandising, Retail Marketing, Finance & Procurement, Agency & Production partners.
You will work across cities, other geos, and global to drive a robust concept map and continually build new consumer experiences that accelerate soccer brand and business growth opportunities.
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or closely related field. Will accept any suitable combinations of education, experience and training.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in Digital Brand Marketing, Communications or Social with a deep understanding of the soccer ecosystem.
Demonstrated genuine passion and deep understanding of soccer, culture, fashion, trends and growing the sport across underserved communities.
Extensive knowledge of the Nike Soccer product and athlete portfolio.
Experience leading and managing diverse teams, with a team-first mentality and ability to influence decision makers.
Digital first approach with strong initiative and curiosity to cultivate innovation.
External facing experience with league and retail partners.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to balance creativity with organization and discipline in fast moving, ambiguous environment.
