You will work alongside the Global Compensation and Consulting team and report directly to the Senior Director, Executive Compensation. To ensure executive compensation programs are coordinated and communicated effectively, you will partner with teammates across the Total Rewards, Corporate Governance, and Finance organizations.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an experienced professional that is results-driven, detail-oriented, and a team player. This role handles highly confidential information and will continue to ensure our programs and practices remain compliant with various regulatory bodies. The environment in which this role works is dynamic and at times ambiguous. Therefore, we are searching for a teammate that is resourceful, proactive, adaptable, and operates with the utmost integrity. Critical skills for this role include problem-solving, analysis, time management, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 7-10 years of increasing responsibility in Total Rewards, inclusive of 3-5 years in executive compensation
  • Preferred: MBA and/or certification(s) in the field of executive compensation

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

This role is responsible for synthesizing market insights, industry trends, and shareholder feedback in a concise and compelling way to influence executive compensation design and pay practices. In addition to ensuring NIKE has sound governance practices in place to maintain compliance for executive compensation programs and practices, you will lead analyses and develop recommendations with respect to pay and incentive plan design in partnership with the Global Compensation Team. Ultimately, you will be responsible for elements of NIKE’s proxy that tell our story to investors. You will:

  • Easily flex between operating in the details to preparing materials for the Compensation Committee and engaging with our shareholders.
  • Appreciate and understand intersection between the regulatory and financial aspects of executive compensation and its impact on program design and pay practices.
  • Work in a highly collaborative environment, where you may pivot between owning and driving recommendations to playing a more supportive role depending on the topic and situation.

We offer a number of accommodations to complete our interview process including screen readers, sign language interpreters, accessible and single location for in-person interviews, closed captioning, and other reasonable modifications as needed.
