Sports Planning & Operations, is apart of the Brand Planning and Operations function at Nike. Marketing Operations is the team that drives, shapes and forms processes influenced by strategy. Ensuring the delivery of marketing in alignment to business priorities and the integrity of alignments as the strategy begins to land with all function teams.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Sports Planning & Operations is looking for a Senior Professional to drive strategic integration and excellence across our marketing function.

This role, will be the glue between Greater China and Global, as well as connecting the seasonal priorities across our Brand Planning and Operations functions. This role will be a strategic partner to the leaders of GC BPO as well as Global BPO.  With an edge of strategic first thinking, to drive synergy and priorities of Greater China plans.

The successful candidate will embody skillsets including strong communication skills, solutions oriented mindset and leadership qualities to drive projects forward and manage tough conversations.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

Your day to day will entail working closely with the brand team, and driving clarity for your teams and partners to ensure timely delivery including:

1)Seasonal Priority Alignment: Supporting the Senior Director and Sports Planning Director, to ensure strategic priorities across the seasons, with clear direction to drive cross company collaboration.

2)Down Stream Planning: The connector of Upstream strategy to down stream execution, bridging the gap from Nike LT strategy transitioning to Sports squads actions.  

3)Process and Operations: Connecting Global Processes with Geo Processes creation.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

Being an great communicator and experienced in stakeholder management, you will be familiar with working across matrix org structures, where there will be multiple stakeholders and functions you will working closely with, in and out of Marketing.

Your Core Partners will be the Global Brand Planning and Operations teams, as well as Brand Planning Operations partners in GC.

You will be Reporting to:

  • Sports Planning and Operations Director

WHAT YOU BRING

On top of a love for detail and driving processes, you will also be expected to have:

  • Over 7 years of strategy and marketing experience.
  • Exposed to matrix communications with multiple stakeholders
  • Understanding of marketing processes from business strategy to creative development and execution.
  • Proven track record of driving processes with rigor.
