WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

Nike is looking for Senior Technical Product Manager – AI/ML to drive the development and delivery of innovative, customer-centric AI/ML-powered solutions. You will work at the intersection of business, technology, data science and platform capabilities, playing a pivotal role in defining the roadmap, building scalable AI/ML products, and delivering transformative experiences for Nike users.

This role requires a combination of technical expertise, strong product management skills, and a passion for leveraging AI/ML to solve complex problems, enabling Nike to stay at the forefront of innovation.

  • Architects and senior engineers
  • Lead and Principal Technical Product Managers

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The candidate should be fulfilling the below criteria

  • 8+ years demonstrated experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Technical Product Manager in Data and AI/ML product development.
  • Agile product development with a working squad.
  • Stakeholder alignment at team and adjacent-team level.
  • Data-informed decision making — comfortable with basic telemetry and KPI tracking.
  • Written and verbal clarity; able to write a one-pager that senior leaders can act on.
  • Participation in at least two full-cycle projects or multiple projects across various phases of development
  • Strong experience working in matrix organizations, managing wide stakeholder networks, and navigating cross-product dependencies.
  • Experience working and developing AI/ML frameworks, products, platforms, pipelines, and solutions, including development, deployment, and optimization of ML models.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and Jira, Confluence, Figma, LucidChart tools.
  • Storytelling abilities for effectively being able propagate the impact your solutions across enterprise
  • A strategic thinker with a passion for AI/ML technologies and their potential to solve real-world problems.
  • A doer who can perform hands-on work, create detailed product artifacts, work effectively in JIRA, collaborate closely with the engineering team, and organize incoming information efficiently.
  • A collaborative team player skilled at navigating cross-functional teams and driving alignment.
  • A problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity and brings clarity through well-defined strategies and execution plans.
  • An expert who champions innovation and has the ability to influence decisions across technical and business teams.
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in an Engineering Discipline
  • Located in Bangalore or willing to relocate to Bangalore

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

  • Own the backlog, roadmap, and priorities for a single product or product area.
  • Translate business needs into shippable increments in partnership with the engineering lead.
  • Track product performance, adoption, and quality; close the loop with engineering on improvements.
  • Run squad-level ceremonies that matter (planning, reviews, retros)
  • Ability to demo AI products and services connecting the solution to dependent platform solutions
  • Leverage AI/ML knowledge to enrich requirements focused on emerging technologies and their application.
  • Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, platform teams, product and engineering leaders, cross-functional stakeholders to design and integrate AI/ML products into business processes bringing impact to Nike Business.
  • Stay informed about advancements in AI/ML frameworks, tools, and technologies, and apply them to enhance product performance and innovation.
  • Foster collaboration across technical and business teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop and communicate technical concepts, roadmaps, and product strategies effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
