Nike GT GC team is looking for an experienced Java Develop Engineer who builds and maintains IT

solutions ensuring continual  & high-level tech contribution. The ideal candidate must be customer-driven and tech-savvy, with proven problem-solving abilities as well as retail & wholesale knowledge (2B & 2C) in footwear & apparel industry special at Great China market (Mainland China , HK & TW) , and eager to join a dynamic, agile and fast-growing environment.

Core Accountabilities:

  • Design ,develop, implement and support IT solutions to meet business requirements
  • Conduct system test, and provide support on system implementation.
  • Ensure a high quality standard of deliverables according to Nike standards and best practices
  • Prepare project related documentation and ensure compliance and audit policies strictly followed
  • Reduce technical risk / debt in solution proposal, system design and implementation
  • Provide in-depth knowledge transfer and on-job training / guidance to improve team productivity
  • Team player,  work closely with stakeholders on projects delivery 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience and deep knowledge on programming with Java or similar role for a large corporation
  • Rich experience in  Spring Framework (Spring Boot/Spring MVC/etc)
  • Rich experience in  relational database (MySQL/Oracle/PostgreSQL/etc), non-SQL database (Mongo/AWS DynamoDB/etc) and message queue (Kafka/RabbitMQ/AWS SQS/etc)
  • Familiar with cloud and the corresponding services and architecture design patterns
  • Familiar with design patterns, code refactoring and test-driven development
  • Experience in observability tools like ELK/Grafana/etc
  • With phenomenal technical passion, terrific problem-solving skills, contribute to results, work independently
  • Experience in frontend (React/VUE preferred) & Mini Program development would be a plus
  • ​Experience in footwear and apparel industry would be a plus
  • Experience in Supply Chain would be a plus
