We are looking for a sample specialist to join our Concept Design team in Nike Global Design. Concept Design is the leading edge of defining the future of Nike, bridging the worlds of emerging innovation, athlete insights, product design, and brand storytelling to develop the ideas that will define the brand. Part of the Global Concept Excellence Team, the Styling function sits at the heart of the product lifecycle process from conceptual ideas to retail reality. The Styling Team co-creates the head-to-toe strategy, visual identity and end-in-mind vision for the Nike product line. Candidates for this role must be collaborative, imaginative, and tactical, as they will support the team turning creative strategy and big ideas into a head-to-toe styling perspective for the Nike Brand.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- As part of the Global Styling Excellence Team, you will enable the product sample process, supporting the seamless execution of an upstream strategy that has end-in-mind reach.
- You’ll work with the Styling Directors, Product Design and Merchandising to manage the product assortment and samples for work that will influence Brand Campaigns, the Retail Experience and our Digital Channels.
- A given week can consist of ordering, maintaining and purging product samples, attending photoshoots, managing the styling closet and partnering with cross-functional teams to stay up-to-date on seasons and assortments.
- A Nike Product expert, you will juggle multiple seasons at any given time, being nimble across all Fields of Play & Genders, supporting various internal & external productions.
- You will build tools and seek efficiencies to support and improve styling excellence.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
The Styling Excellence Senior - Product reports to the Senior Director, Styling Excellence, and works end-to-end with cross-functional partners including Operations, Merchandising, Design, Marketing, Brand & VM.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Design or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education and experience, and training.
- 4+ years experience in Operations, Production, Styling and/or Visual Merchandising.
- A positive mentality with proven ability to flex and adapt to changing business needs while maintaining creative quality.
- Ability to orchestrate collaboration across a network of functions to influence decisions and drive change upstream.
- Highly developed curiosity and knowledge of fashion and youth culture, current and past.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficient in Keynote, Excel and Photoshop.
- Mac proficiency and experience in Figma, Miro and Airtable.
- Excellent influencing & negotiating skills.
- Ability to travel approximately 4 times per year.
