In this leadership role you will develop the strategy to grow and maintain Jordan’s presence in the zeitgeist and ensure that we are always at the center of the intersection of court, culture and community. These responsibilities include:
- Own the vision and design execution for all brand collaborations and partnerships, leading end-to-end design across footwear, apparel, accessories and future product expression types, ensuring every partnership feels intentional, culturally relevant, and unmistakably on-brand.
- Shaping and driving design direction across this Ignite division of Jordan Energy.

Director, Energy Sublabel & BP Product Design, Jordan
These roles report to the Sr. Global Creative Director of Jordan Energy. You will partner closely with the General Manager of Ignite and Sublabels & Brand Partnerships, respectively, along with cross-functional leads across Brand and Brand Creative, Entertainment Marketing, Product Management and Merchandising. Additionally, you will partner with leads across Streetwear and Sport Fields of Play, leading and fostering relationships with external partners to create a cohesive vision across all categories. Building strong partnerships within the design community and cross-functional teams will be central to your success. You'll foster a culture of collaboration, encouraging your team to explore new ideas and take calculated risks to generate unseen possibilities.
WHAT YOU BRING TO JORDAN
A successful candidate will be expected to clearly demonstrate and articulate experience in the essential requirements below, to be considered. Candidates that meet these criteria will then be assessed based on the competencies also outlined below.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in design or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
- Strong inter-personal, communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of industry-leading executions most-relevant to our Jordan Energy Consumer Muses.
- Minimum 8+ years’ experience in a design-related role, including 2 years in a management/leadership role preferred.
- Footwear design experience preferred.
- Passion for and/or knowledge of action sports, non-traditional sports, and adjacent sub-cultures and communities.
- Experience exploring new technical and aesthetic innovations across performance and style.
- Self-starter with innovation mindset who thrives in fast-paced, agile culture, embraces change, and can navigate ambiguity.
- Track record working with a broad range of collaboration partners across industries and ability to influence different personalities and perspectives to achieve high-quality results.
- Clear and persuasive communication skills, both visual and verbal, with the ability to present and stand behind your concepts.
