WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

As the Director of Running & Training Brand Marketing, you will collaborate with teammates across Nike to create bold, innovative ways to inspire and connect with athletes* through sport and culture. You will report directly to the Sr. Director of Marketing for Nike Southeast Asia & India (SEA&I) and serve as a key member of the SEA&I Marketing Leadership Team.

You will lead the Running and Training Brand Marketing team and be accountable for the growth and development of talent reporting directly to you: Lead – Brand Marketing Running, Lead – Brand Marketing Training, and Senior – Brand Marketing Running/Training.

Your work will involve partnering with cross-functional teammates in Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Asia-Pacific Latin America (APLA) daily.

To build integrated plans, you will collaborate with internal and external partners across Geography, Territory and City Teams, Brand Marketing, Brand Creative, Integrated Media, Retail Marketing, Digital Marketing, Energy Marketing, Communications, Sports Marketing, Brand Planning & Operations, Marketplace, Merchandising, Sales, Finance, Operations, Legal, and agency/event partners.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a dynamic Director of Brand Marketing based in Singapore to lead our Running and Training Marketing teams in Southeast Asia and India (SEA&I). This individual will play a pivotal role in executing some of Nike’s most impactful global campaigns and shaping the Nike brand with a focus on Running and Training—including building the future of NikeSKIMS.

To thrive in this role, you must be an innovative storyteller who values visionary thinking, teamwork, and imagination to foster an inclusive culture. A passion for sport, relentless curiosity about the consumer, and belief in Nike’s brand vision are essential.

You will lead a cross-functional marketing team, build brand strategy, and drive end-to-end integrated marketing plans. A deep understanding of Running and Training, combined with knowledge of sport, athletes, and youth culture in SEA&I, is critical.

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 10+ years of experience in brand management, consumer marketing, or related fields within sports, consumer brands, digital/streaming platforms, or creative agencies; 2 years additional experience in lieu of a degree.

  • Genuine passion and knowledge for running, training, wellness, and sport.

  • Ability to think strategically, lead initiatives, manage project teams and timelines, and influence effectively.

  • Strong information-seeking skills with the ability to balance creativity and operational excellence in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.

  • A team-first mentality with a commitment to coaching and mentoring others. Deep appreciation for collaboration, cultural nuances, and excellence in people skills.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

In this role, you will partner with Nike leaders across Southeast Asia, India, and Asia-Pacific Latin America to spearhead Running, Training, and NikeSKIMS brand initiatives. You’ll develop and execute marketing strategies, manage cross-functional teams, oversee consumer insights, and drive campaigns that elevate brand engagement and business growth. You will also lead team development, manage budgets, and measure success through brand strength and consumer connection.

  • Partner with Nike leaders across SEA&I and APLA to lead Running, Training, and NikeSKIMS initiatives, including marketing strategy, brand campaigns, and activations with country teams.

  • Drive key projects across territories and cities to create consumer experiences that accelerate brand engagement and business growth.

  • Direct consumer brand strategy for Running and Training; lead your team in executing priority brand concepts by translating strategy into clear, inspiring briefs.

  • Gain consumer insights, identify trends and opportunities, integrate products into marketing initiatives, and oversee seasonal campaigns and asset distribution across channels.

  • Author integrated marketing plans, build and maintain relationships, and coordinate functional plans to maximize brand impact in the marketplace.

  • Develop external partnerships that expand brand presence and lead ground-level campaigns to generate positive word-of-mouth for Nike.

  • Oversee the full marketing process, deliver compelling presentations, and foster collaboration through effective communication.

  • Lead, coach, and manage the growth and development of three direct reports through Nike’s performance management process.

  • Plan and manage budgets with the operations team, ensuring optimal use of resources to deliver on objectives and timelines.

  • Measure success by tracking improvements in brand strength, consumer engagement, and business growth.
