WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Nike is seeking a strategic digital operator to Lead Digital Operations for the Digital Marketing team. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on operational excellence, process optimization, and collaborative problem-solving. You will be passionate about enabling marketing teams to deliver with clarity and agility, ensuring seamless execution across complex digital ecosystems.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in marketing operations, a strong understanding of digital workflows, and a commitment to driving efficiency and innovation. You will serve as the single operations partner for Digital Marketing, shaping planning frameworks, optimizing tools and systems, and empowering teams to execute Nike’s bold digital vision.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
In this role, you will orchestrate operational processes and tools that enable Digital Marketing to deliver integrated campaigns and experiences. You will manage seasonal and long-range planning, streamline workflows, and ensure alignment across cross-functional partners. Your work will create clarity, discipline, and speed for the Digital Marketing team.
Key Job Accountabilities:
·Provide strategic operational leadership and partnership to Digital Marketing leaders.
·Translate marketing strategies into actionable operational plans and processes.
·Develop and execute seasonal and long-range planning frameworks for Digital Marketing initiatives.
·Partner with the Geo cross-functional teams (Brand, Retail, Creative, Media, BPO) to ensure integrated planning and execution.
·Build, evolve, and implement tools and systems (budget trackers, project management platforms) to support digital marketing operations.
·Manage the seasonal workflow for Digital Marketing’s project portfolio, driving efficiencies and process optimization.
·Lead the operating model—setting meeting cadence, team resourcing, communication, and tools for Digital Marketing.
·Monitor and report on operational performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will report to the Director of Brand Planning & Ops and collaborate closely with Digital Marketing leadership. You’ll partner with cross-functional stakeholders in Brand, Creative, Media, and BPO to ensure seamless execution of digital initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of marketing and operations, enabling Nike’s digital storytelling at scale.
WHAT YOU BRING
·Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
·A minimum of 6 years of direct relevant work experience in marketing operations, digital marketing, or strategic planning within a global, matrixed organization.
·Strong understanding of digital marketing workflows, campaign planning, and go-to-market processes.
·Experience building and scaling operational systems, tools, and processes for marketing functions.
·Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
·Expertise in project management, resource planning, and budget oversight.
·Exceptional communication and storytelling skills.
·Strategic thinking and analytical skills with a bias for action.
·Ability to influence and drive alignment across diverse teams.
·Proficiency in planning and collaboration tools (Airtable, Smartsheet, Box).
·Comfort thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
