WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You are one of the key functions leading within Converse Partner Manufacturing & Engineering team, and is part of the  Global Sourcing & Manufacturing team committed to delivering partner and product excellence every day. You will be responsible for working closely with manufacturing engineering teams, Industrial Engineer (IE) & manufacturing modernization team, factory partners, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. technical developers, chemical engineers, materials specialists, costing analysts, supply planning analysts, etc.). This role reports to Senior Manager, Manufacturing Systems Engineering, based in Zhongshan, China.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced lead, manufacturing systems engineer to spearhead our digitalization initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and digital technologies. You will be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing digital strategies and action.

  • Bachelor of Science in System Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation Engineering, or combination of relevant education, experience or training.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.

  • Proven experience in leading digital transformation initiatives in the manufacturing sector.

  • Strong knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies and their applications.

  • Excellent leadership and project management skills.

  • Ability to think strategically and drive changes.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in English.

  • Strong critical thinking and analytical capabilities.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

As lead, manufacturing systems engineer, you will lead the strategic development and execution of digital transformation initiatives for manufacturing partners, leveraging Industry 4.0 technologies (IoT, AI, automation), cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement to drive innovation and digital maturity.

  • Lead the development and execution of manufacturing partner digital transformation strategies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement digital solutions.

  • Drive the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies, including IoT, AI, and automation.

  • Monitor and analyze digital trends to ensure our manufacturing partners remain at the forefront of innovation.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and digital literacy within the organization.
