WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We’re building the Nike brand, and we’re inviting people into our stores to be inspired. The question is: how do we do that best? That’s where you come in.
We’re looking for a collaborative and creative retail marketer who can connect with consumers through Nike — driving brand love, business impact, and sport inspiration across Los Angeles. Our ideal candidate is solution oriented, passionate about retail, sport, and the culture of sport, and dedicated to understanding what makes our consumer connect with our brand.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
As a Retail Specialist II, you will play a critical role in planning and executing seasonal product launches, amplifying sport moments, and foundational retail excellence across Los Angeles. You will assist in the development and communication of retail marketing plans, briefs, and project tracking, as well as tools needed to execute across the marketplace and achieve scale. This role might also include seasonal product ordering, event logistics, and overall project/agency coordination with planning and operations partners.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
You will report to the Integrated Retail Marketing Brand Director, and you will work day-to-day with the LA’s Retail Marketing Lead, Nike Direct and City Partner. As part of the Marketing team, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners including Visual Merchandising, Retail Marketing Creative, Brand Management, Digital Marketing teams, Store Business partners, Sports Marketing partners, Merchants, Product teams, Frontline Store Teams, external agency partners, and fellow Retail Marketing teammates who lead other initiatives and parts of the brand portfolio.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING?
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training
2+ years of marketing or store experience
Experience in small-large fleet, vertical retail environments
Strong understanding of digital marketing, reporting, and data analysis
Passion for marketing, product, and storytelling
Dedication to detail and precision
Innate curiosity and strong desire to learn
Ability to take risks, learn, and pivot quickly
Team-oriented mindset with collaborative spirit
Self-starter with excellent organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
Exceptional written, verbal, visual communication and presentation skills
Proactive problem-solver with ability to assess issues and develop action steps
Enthusiasm for both the art and science of marketing
Adaptability to changing business needs and direction
Passion for the Athlete, Sport, and Culture
Commitment to team success while having fun senses of humor and humility
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
